In March I got a phone call from the president of our rescue group asking if I would like to adopt a senior greyhound. She was seven and had been returned to the group. Of course I said YES! Her name is Lainie and she's a real sweetheart. So then there were three. In September I saw that a greyhound was up for adoption at our local SPCA.
